Course requirements in Korea

  • To maximize the learning experience, all HYLION students are recommended to take the designated course related to Korea or East Asia studies during HISS.
  • Students can take two other courses based on their preference.
  • Courses may subject to change.
  • Special lectures included in the Jeju component do not carry academic credit and will not appear on the official transcript.

Course requirements in Japan

  • Special lectures will be given during the one-week travel to Japan.
  • Lectures will be taught by professors from the local university, covering topics about culture, politics and economy
  1. Japanese Culture and Law
  2. Management in Japanese Business
  3. Japanese Culture
  4. Japanese History

Course Registration

  • Only students who are fully admitted to the program can register the courses

  • Course Registration is first-come and first-served basis

  • Each class will be held every day from Monday to Saturday

  • Students can choose up to three (3) courses, max 9 credits

  1. Check our Course List and Syllabus to find desired courses.
  2. Complete our Program Application to receive a Hanyang student ID number and password.
  3. Login to the HY-in Portal Course Registration page with the above login information.
  4. Register courses via above system within the designated period above.
